Department Profile

The Department of Telugu was established in 1981. Since then it has been functioning under the administrative control of the Principal and the Commissionerateof Collegiate Education, Vijayawada, A.P and it has been affiliated to Yogi VemanaUniversity, Kadapa.

The Department has an Telugu Language Lab. It has been functioning successfully since 2008. All the students of all branches have been practicing communication skills in the Telugu Language Lab. The Department has a Departmental Library, which consists of 50 books useful for the faculty and students.

At present there is One Regular faculty member working in the Department. Faculty member name is Mr. V.KalyanKumar with the qualification M.A(Telugu), M.Sc(Maths), M.Ed, UGC-NET.
